How ScreenZombie handles purchase, license, support, and app information.
Information We Handle
- Email address, receipt details, and activation status needed for purchases, licensing, and support.
- Installation identifier, operating system, app version, and device-count information needed to activate the app.
- Messages, attachments, and the inquiry ID you send to support.
ScreenZombie may request Screen Recording permission to place the desktop lock overlay correctly. We do not use that permission to store or upload your screen contents.
Why We Use It
- To verify purchases, issue activation codes, and validate licenses.
- To manage device limits, plan duration, and update eligibility.
- To provide support, prevent abuse, and keep the service secure.
- To retain records required for legal, accounting, and tax purposes.
Service Providers
Payment details such as card numbers are handled by Stripe Checkout. Subscription management is provided through Stripe Customer Portal. External service providers may receive information needed for payment processing, delivery, and security.
Requests
Where required by law and after identity verification, we respond to requests to access, correct, or delete personal data we control. Contact support@screenzombie.app.
